There are so many Disney Deluxe Resorts to choose from!
Every Walt Disney World fan has a list of favourites, myself included. My top picks include Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. But my absolute favourite Walt Disney World resort hotel is Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort.
It’s technically two separate resorts, but they share many of the same facilities, including wonderful restaurants and the BEST pool on Walt Disney World property!
Here are just a few reasons why I love Yacht & Beach Club so much…
The location of this resort is one of Yacht & Beach Club’s biggest draws.
My wife and I once timed ourselves, and it took exactly four minutes to walk from our Beach Club hotel room door to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot. The walk to Hollywood Studios is 12-15 minutes, or you can take a lovely boat ride. Imagine getting back to your hotel from Animal Kingdom at 7pm, then being able to Park Hop into Epcot for dinner and to watch the fireworks!
The dining options are another great draw for Yacht & Beach Club. Because it’s two resorts in one, you have even MORE options at your fingertips! Enjoy a Character Meal buffet or a sumptuous seafood dinner at Cape May Cafe. Experience a classic American steakhouse meal at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Order some of the best burgers and ice cream sundaes on Disney property at Beaches & Cream, the retro-themed diner. And that’s only three of the most popular options! There are additional Table Service and Quick Service options, as well as lounges for you to discover.
Finally, you can’t talk about Yacht & Beach Club without mentioning Stormalong Bay, the BEST resort pool on Walt Disney World property. This lazy river has a sand bottom, with an island that’s perfect for building sand castles, and one of the coolest water slides you’ve ever seen! Don’t forget to visit Hurricane Hanna’s, the poolside bar for a beverage or a snack.
Have you ever had the opportunity to stay at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts? I’d love to hear your experiences in the comment section!
